On March 13-14, we held another (we don't remember the 4th or 5th) course for KULUAR leaders on first aid.
We figured out how to work according to the MARCH protocol (and CABC, but for me it's the same thing)
Improved or learned new skills:

After that, we went through a test simulation with two victims. According to the teachers, they did a good job. However, we lost the victim's severed hand. But that's nothing)
Such simulations are a very cool and useful story. Even knowing that it is a simulation, you still feel some stress.
After the official part, the team leaders spent several hours analyzing more common situations in hiking: poisoning, dislocations, insect and animal bites, heat strokes and burns.
Of course, two days is not enough. But the algorithm of actions remains in your head, and if necessary, there are chances that you will not be helpless, but will know where to start: put on gloves, exhale and follow the algorithm.
We try to hold such courses every year, and for most team leaders it was 2-3-4 times.
By the way, the previous one was held in early February 2022, and 2023 was skipped due to the difficult financial situation. The course is not free, and the participation of team leaders is, of course, paid for by the Backroom.
We are grateful to our regular partners Respawn School and the 44th Training Center for their quality work.
For the rights of advertising: every time I talk to our leaders in person, I am overwhelmed with a sense of reliability and pride that #kuluar has such a team.
Motivation:
Imagine how many lives can be saved if every Ukrainian has the skills to provide first aid.
