How Petro turned 500,000 UAH into 1,000,000: Outdoor United in action

When fundraisings slowed down, part of our Outdoor United team, together with representatives of the 93rd Brigade, set out to explore subsidies and government programs. It took effort, but it brought results.

One such program is the support for volunteers and drone manufacturers in the Lviv region. The administration reimburses the manufacturer 50% (up to 500k) of the cost of drone procurement. That means the manufacturer can sell at 50%. Both the fund and the manufacturer must be certified.

Our goal – drones on fiber optics. You've probably all heard of them? These are the ones no electronic warfare system can jam.

The only thing left (not that small) – is to find 500,000 when fundraising isn’t as active as before.

The amount is bigger because we decided to reach for 21 drones, with a total cost of 1,019,000 UAH. And yes, fiber optics is significantly more expensive than regular FPVs.

Why was it Petro who turned it? – because he was the initiator and handled the process.

That’s the kind of awesome help story this is. This time without a fundraiser, though the amount wasn’t small.

A reminder: since my birthday, a relatively small fundraiser has been ongoing for a Mavic 3 for the 3rd SOF Regiment – 75,000 UAH. If the night shellings make you angry, or if you just have the means – join in. Because the situation at the front, to put it mildly, hasn’t improved.
