#KULUARHELP 2023 – gratitude, results, plans

Thank you to all defense forces, volunteers and not indifferent for the opportunity to write this post in free Ukraine. For the opportunity to work, to function the club, to help, to live.

17 members of the Kuluar team are now in the defense forces.
Low bow to you, honor and the constant feeling that we are not doing enough compared to you!

We are constantly saddened to remember Andrei Grinik, who went missing in 2022....

Regarding the numbers and conclusions of the year in KULUAR.

Here it is worth starting with the projects that fall under the "Good" category - these are the ones that are most meaningful to us.

The very first of these is the #kuluarhelp volunteer initiative

935,700 - spent on assistance to the AFU directly from Kuluar (excluding December) in 2023, and since the beginning of full-scale - 2,296,146 UAH.

This amount is the contribution of every consultant, projekt, team leader - who work on organizing and conducting programs.

This is the contribution of every participant who chooses to go to the mountains with KULUAR - chooses to support Ukraine. ️️️️️

UAH 11,641,740 - the total amount within #kuluarhelp. Thank you to all those who tirelessly donate to the collection! Way to go!

Rehabilitation hikes

In 2023 we conducted 3 rehabilitation groups with a total of 37 participants. The expenses amounted to 85 540 UAH.

It could have been more, but it is not bad that it is so.️

Support for tourism development

Support of children's and youth tourist club "Dogori Drigom" - about 15000 (30 carabiners, transfers, gifts).

Marking the route to Hoverla with milestones - about 13000.

Next year we plan to increase support for tourism in the Carpathians.

Let's move on to the statistics of KULUAR's main line of work

There were 353 groups with 2772 participants. Approximately. The basis was hiking in the Carpathians, but there were also foreign groups.
In the foreign groups, the vast majority are expats, Baltic and Central Asian countries, refugees.
So the added value is that we bring and attract funds back to Ukraine.

Thanks again to all the couloirs who trust us with their mountain adventure. We work to justify this trust.

Now KULUAR, as a business, needs to be as efficient as possible. For 25-30 families, it is KULUAR that is the main (or one of the) source of income and this is also a big responsibility.

Must be efficient to increase good deeds and especially help the defense forces.

️️️️️️So the plans for 2024 are quite simple: to organize the highest quality hikes and climbs for the greatest number of participants. To be able to do more "good".
And most importantly - to bring Ukraine's victory closer every day.
