We recently launched a fundraising campaign for KULUAR team leader Igor Tsan, who is currently serving in the 5th Separate Mechanised Brigade.
Our initial target was 190,000 UAH. To help reach this target more quickly and get as many people as possible involved, we decided to hold a prize draw amongst everyone who contributed to the fundraiser for a trip with KULUAR to Cape Verde — our new, but already very popular, destination.
This is a 9-day adventure on the islands of Santo Antão, São Vicente and Fogo, including a volcano climb. The winner could choose from several travel dates, reschedule the trip or even pass it on to someone else.
The terms were simple: for every 100 UAH donated, you got one chance to win. And you got so involved that we not only met the initial target, but significantly exceeded it.
🔥 As a result, we raised 279,568 UAH for Igor Tsan’s unit!
That is almost 90,000 hryvnias more than originally planned.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, reposted, shared the fundraiser on their Stories and helped raise awareness of it. It is thanks to you that we were able to reach this total.
And now — on to the fun bit 🙂
We raffled off a trip with KULUAR to Cape Verde, as well as a rafting trip down the Dniester to Bakota, amongst the participants at the gathering.
