Way back in 2002 I first went to the big mountains. It was the Caucasus, the Digoria mountain camp. At the end of the shift we proudly received our honestly earned mountaineering badges. In my description of myself instead of the usual "physically and technically well prepared" the instructor wrote "I am in love with the mountains! :)
It's been 16 years... And it's still true. The mountains are my source of inspiration, a place of strength, and travel is my way of getting to know the world in all its diversity. In the mountains I feel at home. They spoil me with beauty of landscapes, they restore me after hectic city life and sometimes give me severe lessons. One never gets bored in the mountains!
And since I am attracted to everything a bit extreme, the mountains for me are a wonderful springboard to realize my hobbies! In winter this is snowboarding, downhill skiing and ski touring, in all other seasons trail-running, cross-country skiing (this is the kind of leisure, after which I want to say "good rest, but very tired":))), biking, and of course hiking and climbing! Another favorite part of traveling is the opportunity to meet interesting people and create a unique atmosphere together!
