We came for the mountains and the emotions, and we got them in full: very beautiful and picturesque, very few other hikers on the route, trails clean of litter, and plenty of aesthetic pleasure. The wonderful clear Lake Rosokhan, the beautiful peaks of Syvulia and Kin, and the ride to the trailhead in the back of a GAZ truck added its own flavour, though not comfort) Overall, this hike is a compromise between comfortable hikes based in cabins and hikes with backpacks. The weather promised to be changeable, and so it was, with its rains, a night downpour and one rather cold night. We had two groups at the campsite at the same time, which is 26 people, and because of the rain and fatigue we didn't even get to know everyone, but it was convenient to have two team leaders, and we could split up: more people went with the faster group, while the slower group walked at its own pace. A good hike and good organization from Kuluar, thank you!
