At the end of April I finally decided on my first hike. I was a little doubtful that I could go the long route with a tent, so I chose to hike the Lycian Trail in the Cabins for my first experience.
Managers at the very beginning advised me on what I needed in terms of equipment, I prepared everything. But, despite the recommendations, I did not take trekking poles! And it was very necessary))))
And yet, of course for the first campaign, I took a bunch of unnecessary things ... But that's ok )
At the beginning of our journey, we met with a wonderful, professional, positive, funny guide Victoria Palamarchuk! I just admire this remarkable and bright person! Very interesting travel stories, useful recommendations on the selection of equipment, advice on personal fitness and a lot of positive!
The hike itself, despite its short duration, was very intense... We walked around the town in the rain in Fethiye, visited local Fish Market and tasted freshly cooked fish right from the counter. We saw the beautiful Butterfly Bay, flew on a paraglide from 2000 m high Badabag Mountain, walked along the sea on the most beautiful places of the Lycian Way, saw the real desert, visited the remains of the ancient Lycian Civilization, had a lot of fun on the beaches with clear turquoise blue water, watched just beautiful sunsets!
In terms of comfort - all overnight stays (hotels) were comfortable enough, with hot water, clean bed, beautiful views.
Dinner and breakfast also pleased - the variety of dishes - there were fish and meat and kebab, freshly baked bread, different variations of Turkish national food.
Our small team "turned out" just super successful!
The guys were very cheerful, erudite and positive! I just loved it!
As for the level of complexity, the hike itself is really not difficult, especially if you do at least minimally sports.
As for me personally, I was difficult the first 2 days - then my legs and back, too ) But I generally from sports and regular exercises very far).
In general, I am very pleased with the trip! Legs were painful from the unusual for the "office plankton" load, my head was full of positive experiences, my eyes were happy with the beautiful views, and special thanks to all the guys from our group and the guide Victoria especially!!!!!
