Mountains are forever. Every time you have a new experience. It seems like May, but no—snow, rain, cold, gradually changing into a bright sunny day.
This time, on May 25, 2025, it was Mount Grofa. In the fog, with snow and the beginning of a blizzard.
Of course, when you are ready for this, it is not uncomfortable, but simply different, a different projection of my love for the mountains, which I really wanted to see.
Was I afraid to go? Of course not, because I'm going with #Kuluar again, which means that I think about my own enjoyment, think about what I specifically want from the trip, and Kuluar makes sure that I'm not hungry and safe. With this combination of expectation and reality, it's always enjoyable.
In a team with other participants of the trip, there is always someone with whom you feel comfortable walking, talking, or just being silent. Every time it is an experience — not to meddle in other people's business, not to give unnecessary advice, but just to be there and respond when asked.
This time, team leader Oksana inspired us to take everything in stride and stay positive. She prepared delicious meals and told us many interesting things about the area we were in — the legendary Gorgany Mountains.
I'm looking forward to the next trip with Kuluar.
