I would do it again and choose autumn again

This route had interested me for a long time. I had already seen Svydovets in summer, so I really wanted to see it in autumn too, and also to explore new trails and a part of the Gorgany that was new to me. It suits those who already have mountain experience. Probably, if you go in summer, it can be recommended to less experienced hikers too. But an autumn or spring hike can turn a bit wintry — that's always a risk in the off-season. I personally liked our hike. It was moderately difficult. But I am a relatively fit and experienced hiker. For me the hike was very interesting and full of adventures. Of course, the weather brought some fun: we walked in sun, in snow with wind, in rain, and in all of it at once — we even saw a rainbow several times. But probably not everyone had pleasant feelings about the hike. Because some of the participants were not prepared and didn't understand where they were going. Some didn't have suitable gear or warm clothes. In my opinion, the managers need to pay more attention to these issues. Because some people don't fully understand that even such low and homely mountains as our Carpathians can be unfriendly and lead to unpleasant incidents and hypothermia. Special gratitude and respect to our guide, Olha, who made sensible decisions in extreme conditions and led us safely through difficult sections in bad weather. She also thought through and changed the route so that during the bad weather we spent most nights in huts — this saved our hike, and thanks to these actions the whole group was able to complete the route. Personally, I loved the hike. I would do it again and would choose autumn again, despite the risk of cold weather. And in general, there's no bad weather in the mountains, only unsuitable gear and unprepared hikers. I also want to thank the people who were with me on the hike: you made it warm, heartfelt and comfortable — with you I didn't feel lonely, and it was interesting to explore this great route!
