Once the excitement of the rafting trip had died down, I felt the urge to share my experience! In short: it was physically demanding, but it was 100 per cent worth it! The incredible beauty of the Dniester, Bakota and the scenery will remain in my heart forever, and the thought that I did it fills me with a sense of pride! The consultant prepared us very professionally, and by following her recommendations, I took everything I needed – it was comfortable and lovely! As for the food, there are a few quirks, but purely on a personal note – I didn’t like the breakfasts, as the combination of rice and tuna didn’t appeal to me; on the second day, there was green pasta with some sort of sauce that left a bad taste in my mouth until lunchtime! But then again – that’s purely down to my own taste in food! One more suggestion: in my opinion, it would be better if the tour were a bit more expensive but limited to a group of 15 people; there were 20+ of us, and that was too many! The tour leader and his assistant, however, were brilliant! The hire kit was very good! The programme was brilliant! We were lucky with the weather too – it was warm and comfortable! So my advice to everyone is: go on these adventures, because doing something new is simply a brilliant experience!
