A hike in the Dolomites had been my dream since childhood. However, at least 15 years had passed since my active period of hiking in the Carpathians and Crimea, and I was not physically prepared at all. After 2 years of messaging with the managers, I finally trusted Kuluar and took the risk of going.
As for the difficulty, everything was just as I had expected — getting used to the tent, early wake-ups, physical exertion... But the level of organization of the tour and the beauty of the mountain routes exceeded my expectations. I especially want to highlight the very humane and at the same time professional approach of our team leader Nataliia, the tasty and varied food, the programme thought out down to the details, the pleasant surprises and gifts from the company, the technical equipment of the campsite — everything was top-notch!
I'm happy that I made my dream come true, that I took the risk despite not being prepared, and that I got an unforgettable travel experience! This is one of those cases where the service is so good that you feel as if you underpaid.
The tour also brought together a wonderful group of people who inspire with their love of travel, resilience and the great human qualities of mutual help and support at every level — from heartfelt conversations and jokes to wise advice and their own example of courage and endurance.
